Flu shot? No thanks!

The CDC (U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) says that 9 out of every 10 Americans should roll up their sleeves and grab a flu shot. Guess I’m the 1 out of 10, then, because I say no thanks.
What are you planning to do? Make sure you make your own decision, preferably based on fact and science and individual health details, not on attention-grabbing “news” stories or reports. It’s becoming more and more imperative that you learn what makes sense for you. Leaving these very important choices up to someone else can be pretty risky.
Flu vaccines contain a chemical cocktail of formaldehyde, aluminum and mercury cultivated on chicken embryos. Do you really want that injected into your arm?
On top of that, one scientist has shown that if a person receives 5 consecutive flu vaccines over a period of 10 years, there is a 10 times higher chance of developing Alzheimer’s. Another scientist has shown a link between the flu vaccine and symptoms associated with Parkinson’s and ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis or Lou Gehrig’s disease).
Besides, the flu vaccine is only a stab at what might be going around this year. In February, scientists attempt to figure out which flu virus might make the rounds later that year. Then the top three are placed into the vaccine. That is no insurance that a flu shot will prevent you from getting the flu. Is it worth the shown risks to maybe have a chance at avoiding the flu?
Yes, it is reported that thousands of people die each year from flu complications. However, most of these already had challenged immune systems from some other illness. What is the real number of average, healthy people who actually succumb just from the flu? If that number was reported, might the drive for a flu shot dry up and blow away?
I am not getting a flu shot this year. I didn’t last year or the year before that or the ... get the picture? I haven’t had the flu which you can attribute to luck or the fact that I instead do what I can to keep my body healthy and my immune system strong. And I don’t even religiously wash my hands with antibacterial soap or carry sanitizers around!
Your body is designed to work well and fight off invading viruses and bacteria. Instead of damaging it further with a chemical mix, figure out what you can do to bring it into even better health so you naturally can evade the flu and avoid the risks of a vaccine.
