In my November newsletter, I was writing about a wonderful project called Angels Anonymous. (If you’d like to subscribe, click on the “Newsletter” section of my site, then the subscribe button — my newsletter is free, filled with interesting info to help you stay well and inspired, and your e-mail address is absolutely not shared with anyone else.)
Inspired by that, I decided to try to launch a day I’m calling: National Just Be Kind Day. Want to join in? The details are:
On December 1st, be kind. That's all! Just be kind. Let the driver in front of you get into traffic, slow down, thank the stressed cashier, over tip service personnel, smile, be patient, forgive, put yourself in the other guy's shoes and understand.
That’s it! It's simple; it won't take much effort or time on your part; and it has the potential to change the world, if even for one short day. As far as your health, this could do wonders as you de-stress, smile and generally feel better after being kind and experiencing the gift that will come with it.
